Undercover Oxy Buys Lead To Arrest Of Rutherford Delivery Driver, 61

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – A Rutherford delivery driver delivered Oxycodone pills to an undercover Bergen County prosecutor’s detective three separate times, leading to his arrest, authorities said.

Investigators made the buys after learning in November that Steven Lanza, 61, was dealing the prescribed painkiller, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo said.

They arrested him Tuesday on drug distribution charges after the third buy, records show.

Lanza was released pending an April 4 first appearance in Central Judicial Municipal Court in Hackensack.
